RULES OF BEHAVIOR ON THE SKI SLOPE
- Ski carefully, considerately and behave in such a way that you do not endanger health or life or cause harm to yourself or others.
- Enter the ski slope and ride it only on skis! Before entering or crossing the slope, make sure that it is clear enough so that you do not endanger yourself or another skier. Use the ski equipment only in a state in which the manufacturer guarantees safety when using the product and which is secured against the spontaneous release of the ski or other part of the ski equipment. Driving without safety belts or brakes is not permitted.
- While skiing, act in such a way that you do not endanger yourself and your surroundings. Adjust the driving speed to your abilities and capabilities, terrain and snow conditions, as well as the number of skiers on the ski slopes. Control your speed while driving so that you can stop or avoid an unforeseen obstacle.
- You can overtake from any side, always keeping a safe distance so that the overtaking skier has enough space for the direction and manner of his ride. Overtaking is the responsibility of the overtaker. If you are riding in curves, leave at least a place on the left edge of the slope for those who go faster.
- If you are entering a ski slope or want to continue riding again after stopping, you are obliged to make sure that no other person is approaching from above or below, so that you do not endanger yourself or others. Always stop at the edge. Even after falling, do not stay lying in the middle of the track. When you can’t continue driving, get off or down the edge of the track or slope.
- Do not stop and stand on narrow and unclear parts of the ski slope for no reason. If you fall, leave such a place as quickly as possible.
- Follow the markings of the ski slopes and follow the instructions of the information boards located in the ski resort. Heed the instructions of the Mountain Rescue Service and respect the warnings and signs on the slopes and in the terrain.
- In the event of an accident, you are obliged to provide assistance and report the accident to any employee of the ski center or to a member of the Mountain Rescue Service as soon as possible.
- In the ski resort Winter Park Martinky, the employees of the ski resort carry out supervision, who have the right to check the skiers and in case of violation of the rules and other inappropriate behavior on the slopes, they are entitled to take away the ski pass from these skiers without the right to compensation.
VISITATION RULES
Visitors to the Winter Park Martinky ski resort are obliged to comply these visitor regulations and to follow the rules of behavior on the ski slopes. In case of violation of the rules and regulations, the visitor’s skipass may be withdrawn without compensation.
- Ski only on marked ski slopes, observe the behavior on the ski slope and the markings on it.
- Do not enter the slope and do not ski under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.
- Do not stop in the middle of a ski slope for no reason.
- Do not arbitrarily build slalom courses, bridges, guardrails and other terrain obstacles on the ski slope.
- You ride at your own risk in the snowboard park.
- Do not ride private snowmobiles.
- Follow the instructions of the ski resort and the instructions of the Mountain Rescue Service.
- Report any discovered accident to the Mountain Rescue Service or any employee of the ski resort.
- Allow the passage of the Mountain Rescue Service with experience and vehicles.
- At the request of a member of the Mountain Rescue Service or a member of the ski resort, you are required to identify yourself with ID card.
- If you are walking on the slope, walk along the edge of the slope.
- Take care of the environment throughout the ski resort and do not pollute it.
