Despite the abundance of snow, the resort also has artificial snowmaking infrastructure. Thanks to the mix of natural and technical snow, they ensure a season in Martinské hole that lasts up to 110 snowy days a year. The center has six transport facilities, including a six-seater from which you can enjoy the view of Lúčanská and Krivánská Malá Fatra.
Ski courses and teambuilding
Little skiers will be delighted by the ski school, which will be provided by experienced FATRA SKI instructors throughout the season. The environment in Lúčanská Mala Fatra is perfect for school courses – teaching at Martinské hole is based on proven Austrian methodology. The instructors use a safe and well-maintained children’s slope and tools that not only make the lockout easier, but also faster and more enjoyable. Courses and individual lessons in skiing and snowboarding are also available for adults, including ski service or rental of the necessary equipment.

If you are a fan of adrenaline sports, you can plan to cross the winter Ferrata HZS. From December to March, the stream and the iron ropes disappear under the snow and ice. To overcome them, you will need climbing crampons and an ice axe. Attractive program and thematic events
The Winter Park Martinky center implements a regular thematic program with animators on the slopes during the winter season. The center’s mascots – squirrels Marta and Tinky like to take photos with every visitor to the center. Adult skiers traditionally have several attractive events, and during the holidays there is also a Christmas raffle or various competitions for couples. The tobogganing slope next to the children’s lift, which is safely separated from the ski slopes, is regularly maintained and available free of charge.
Snacks right on the slope
Skiers and tourists can enjoy a wide range of refreshments in the heart of the ski resort. Restaurant Nová Ponorka provides, in addition to the traditional morning and lunch menu, the option of evening meals at Martinské hole. Refreshments are complemented by the popular Après-ski bar at ski slope number three or Chata Čučoriedka at the lower station of the chair lift.
